As as a manager, it’s your responsibility to you to make sure your team members are properly organized. There are a myriad of tools for managing your work, but some are more efficient than others. It is crucial to determine the tools and processes that are the most suitable for your team, and to understand how best to utilize them.
Prioritization is at the root of many organizational issues. In attempting to handle multiple tasks at once can be stressful and unproductive, causing you to waste time on low-impact items while ignoring the more valuable ones. Prioritizing tasks in accordance to their importance and amount of effort to complete them is the best way to avoid this.
